“The Fear of the Lord”

Proverbs 8:17
I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.

Jeremiah 29:13
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Wow, when we truly seek Yahwey, He will reveal Himself to us.

Proverbs chapter two is all about The Value of Wisdom.

My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the LORD, And find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path. When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul, Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you, To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things,

Seek ye first, the Kingdom of Yahwey and His righteousness. All these things will be added.  If we dig and dig into the word like we are digging for silver we will hit the true vein of Yahwey.  We will become rich beyond all our wildest imaginations in wisdom and understanding.  We will ultimately know the wisdom of Yahwey.  Is this possible?  Yes, His word is true and never returns void.  Yahwey does not lie.

Numbers 23:19
“God is not a man, that He should lie Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Matthew 13: 45-46
The Parable of the Pearl of Great Price
45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,
46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he
had and bought it.

In other words, if we seek Yahwey in all our ways in all our heart, in all our mind, we will find what is more precious that pearls, we can then give Him our all and never look back as if we lost anything because we gain the entire Kingdom of Yahwey if we buy into His great wisdom and not the things of this world.

Praise Yahwey and His infinite wisdom that He would make these references to show us that there is no measure to compare, nothing on this earth is worth waiting for, we must go with Him.  He paid the price for us and we owe our life to Him, even yet, a debt that we could never re-pay.  We do not even have to because He paid the price for all our sin on the cross and we never have to look back upon sin again.

The fear of the Lord means reverent submission that leads to obedience.  If we submit all that we are, all that we have and ever hope to be, into His will, we will know the fear of the Lord. This is a type of worship-fear also knowing Yahwey’s great forgiveness, mercy, and love for our lives and us….  while we are on earth’s soil.

We know that in our relationship and daily walk with Him, He always says, “I Love you” first.

Knowing this draws us closer to Him rather than causing us to run away from Him.  It causes us to submit gladly and to delight in obedience. …

The fear of Yahwey is not really about being afraid of Him, although we should all fear Him in shear terror because Yahwey is angry with unrighteousness and He is angry that the world is so completely full of sin, but through His son, we can rest assured that Yahushua has softened His anger with us because He loves us more than anything.

Yahwey is crazy about us really…  If we turn towards His will instead of away from His will, He is slow to anger and I believe that He begins to smile upon us and His smile is our strength to carry on.

It is at the very heart of worship, true worship that we can find this rest and assurance.

It is a reverence that we show in acknowledgement to Him for being exactly in the place where we should be.   It is where we see Him, in the Holiest of Holies, on the throne!  It is here where He meets us,  at His feet.

He is Holy and it is by His grace, we can grow in knowing His holiness, and this knowledge and wisdom with which He bestows upon us when we seek for Him in all ways and always.  When we bow down to Him, instead of our own selfish needs, we find that we indeed are the sacrifice to Him.

Though the terms “reverence” and “awe” imply a place for “trembling”, do most people even make the connection? Revere Him; be in awe of His awesome power to strike us dead
with one of His thunderbolts.   If He wanted to…  He could.  If Yahwey wanted to smote us with a flame of fire from the sky, you had better believe … He could.

Yahwey is in charge of the roar of the seas, the winds are in His mighty hands.

Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. ~ Psalm 33:8-9

Even as Paul indicated in Philippians 2: 12 & 13 combining  “fear and trembling” is how he said we are to work out our salvation:

12-13  Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

No deed will go un punished in our lives.  Yahushua said in Matthew 23:35 that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.

Therefore, we can gather that from A to Z, no sin will go unpunished.  It is better to love our Father, with all our heart, all our mind, all our body and all our soul.

We are always free to ask that our sin to be brought to our mind so that we can confess them here on earth.  It is better to meet Elohim here and confess them all and meet Him in His court with thanksgiving in our heart, and enter His gates with Praise… knowing the fear of Adonai.

Do not be held captive to this world behind the bars of lies.  Seek the truth, seek Yahwey, and seek His Word.  Read the Holy Scriptures, asking for His ears, His eyes, His clarity and understanding.   It is with-in us that we will see Him.  It is with-in us that we will hear His truth.   It is with-in us that we will feel His light and that is what separates us from the darkness. -For this: Praise Yahwey!!!
