Revelation 14:6-7 ¶ And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
I believe that this is why Yahwey spared my life back in 2005 was to share the word in spirit and in truth. When one studies the word of the Lord, this is a type of worship. Ergo the scripture comes to mind, ‘God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.’
To be perfectly straight, I am a work in progress as is every other believer on this planet, in that we can read something and miss so much in just one scripture. I do not understand it sometimes so I pray for understanding. We do not know all of our Father’s plan but He has certain folks working out their salvation in this way or that way and for some reason we are not all coming to the same conclusions.
Not everyone is getting the whole picture and so for me, my question is, WHY? Why is the angel dropping out of heaven to take the gospel to the people of the earth?
This is a vision that John saw on the Island of Patmos. In the vision, the angel is saying the hour of His judgment is come. ‘Is come’ tells me that it is in that moment just around that moment’s corner. The angel admonishes: “worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”
Is this the time when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Messiah Yahushua is Lord? It certainly could be because the angel declared that judgment ‘is come’. Then comes the announcement that Babylon has fallen and that she made all the nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
I fear for the United States at this point because when I think of the passages that tell us of Babylon, in my mind eye I see the United States. I believe that the United States has gotten everyone drunk on the wrong gospel and have taken that same wrong gospel to other countries by way of missionaries and ministries.
The gospel is not about salvation. Yahushua said, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”
And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.
Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, “and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. -Luke 24: 44-47
The gospel is that Yahushua died for us. He rose again on the third day and offers eternal life, but one must repent and receive forgiveness. One day we will be resurrected into everlasting life. But between now and then we have a duty to fulfill the Torah just as Yahushua did.
This is what we see when we read the scriptures of the life, death and resurrection of Messiah Yahushua. Salvation is a gift we receive by faith. This is the gift of Yahwey that we accept Yahushua which means ‘salvation’ . However, we are not yet in the clear because even though we have been redeemed to Yahwey and set aside for His purpose, we have not yet received salvation in the sense that we are still here on this planet that is still smothering in iniquity. Nevertheless, we have received ‘the promise’ of the gift of salvation.
In the Pauline letter to the Philippians, Paul said: “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”
This may be why the angel comes to preach the everlasting gospel, so that everyone knows what the plan of Yahwey is and always was.
The third angel say’s: “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF ELOHIM: AND: THE FAITH OF Yahushua.”
Not everyone is keeping all Ten Commandments and are walking according to Yahwey’s law regarding the Sabbath. It was the fourth beast, just like Daniel reported, who would think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. I think this time is still ahead of us, but man did think to change Yahwey’s law regarding the Sabbath of the seventh day. Even though man may ‘think’ that His law is changed, it remains. Most folks think that Yahushua nailed all the Old Testament law to the cross, but here is my dilemma:
If one believes that the law is done away with, two things remain. They end up being the kind of person who doesn’t even read any of the text of the Old Testament because they think that nothing there speaks to them, so they miss the prophecies about when Yahushua is reigning on this earth during the thousand years and about when a country does not send up to Jerusalem a representative to observe the Holy Days Feast of Tabernacles, that country shall receive the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not come and it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, on them there will be no rain. Zechariah Chapter 14 beginning in verse 16.
This only pertains to every one that is left of all the nations, which came against Jerusalem. I believe it is this war that is gearing up daily right before our very eyes.
Those who do not read the Old Testament also miss this prophecy regarding not only keeping Sabbath but also the celebrations of the New Moons and Feast’s of Elohim.
“For as the new heavens and the new earth Which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the LORD, “So shall your descendants and your name remain. And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the LORD. Isaiah 66:22-23
I know that this is future because all flesh has not yet come before the LORD. The whole context where this scripture comes from is discussing the future time when I believe that Yahushua will rule from Jerusalem.
Anyone is welcome to argue the truth of what is written in the scripture of old, but they would be calling Elohim a liar. Anyone can argue that the law has been done away with but if they only want to believe in Yahushua and what He said, He said THINK NOT!
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Did you see that? Not one jot or tittle is passed from the law til heaven and earth pass. Last time I looked, heaven and earth remain. I did a study on what a jot is and what a tittle is and basically it boils down to not even one tiny iota has changed from the law.
Not only that but scripture tells us in Ecclesiastes 12:13 ~ Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Yahushua fulfilled His duty as a man. He feared Yahwey and kept His commands. Just because He fulfilled His duty, does that mean that we do not have to? No, we must because it is our duty as well.
Yahushua came to give the law more meaning. The next verse Yahushua said that anyone who teaches that it is ok to break even the least of the commandments that person shall be called ‘the least in the kingdom of heaven’
BUT: who ever teaches that they should do them (the commandments) shall be called ‘great’ in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:17-19
See what I mean? Not everyone has the same clear message and for some reason, many eyes are blinded from this truth of what Yahushua said and what He taught. We have to take the word of Elohim for what it is so that we will not be deceived. We have to read it and study it for ourselves.
The New Covenant states it this way: “No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” (Found in the Prophets writing and in the book of Hebrews, chapter ten)
Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye ‘THINK NOT” the Son of man cometh. – Yahushua
So, have we been given the wrong message? I think so…. I also wonder if when the two witnesses will straighten this all out when they give the testimony of prophecy during that thousand two hundred and threescore days, mentioned in Revelation eleven. I sure hope so.
