Luke 3:5-6 And all the valleys will be filled and all the mountains and heights will be leveled. And the rough spots will become smooth, and the difficult land a plain and all flesh shall see the salvation of Yahwey.
Evidently Luke knew of Isaiah’s prophecy in Isaiah 40:3-5
¶ The voice of him that cries in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of Yahwey, make straight in the desert a highway for our Elohim. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places a plain: And the glory of Yahwey shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of Yahwey hath spoken.
Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live say’s Yahwey, that every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue will confess to Me.
This shows me that Paul was also quoting the prophet Isaiah.
Hebrews 8:11 And they shall no more teach each one their neighbor, and each one his brother, saying, “Know Yahwey”; because all shall know Me from the least of them to the great ones.
The author of the book of Hebrews is quoting Isaiah 53:13 – And all your sons will be taught of Yahwey and the peace of your sons will be great.
Isn’t that just awesome that those who are taught by Yahwey have ‘great’ peace? I do believe this is why I don’t get too excited when folks do not agree with what I know, because the peace of Yahwey transcends all understanding. More often than not I don’t even say anything when they are speaking of something that I completely do not agree with. It simply isn’t anything to argue or disagree with because the word speaks for itself. I don’t feel any pressure whatsoever to strike up a disagreement with anyone regarding what I have been shown by the Spirit because I have a great peace about me that if Yahwey wanted everyone to know, He would send His Spirit to everyone now, but He isn’t. I often question why not? He has His own reasons and one day, everyone will know, including me. So I just keep pressing on to the mark.
John 6:45 For it is written in the prophets that all of them will be taught of Elohim. Everyone who hears therefore and learns from the Father comes to me. (Isaiah)
John is quoting a different scripture from the prophet Isaiah. So now we have two witnesses who quoted the prophets, agreeing that one day in the future, they John and the author of Hebrews, both knew that Yahwey Himself would teach His children what He wanted them to know. But how would Yahwey do this? John will tell us…
1st John 2:27 But the anointing which you have received from Him (Yahwey) abides in you, and you have no need that anyone teach you. But His anointing teaches you concerning all things (I underlined ‘all things’ in my Bible), and is true, and is not a lie, and as He taught you, abide in Him.
The anointing mentioned here is chrisma in the Greek, pronounced khris’-mah: an unguent or smearing, i.e. (figuratively) the special endowment (“chrism”) of the Holy Spirit:–anointing, unction.
So in order to have the teaching of Yahwey, one must have His spirit living with-in them. John is clearly saying that those who have the Spirit have no need that anyone teach them because the Spirit will teach them ‘all things’. There really isn’t an argument to be made since it is written so clearly. I suspect that the reason Yahwey is doing this is quite frankly He wants everyone that He has endowed with His spirit to have that peace in truth, knowing and believing that He is the One Who is teaching His truth. Yes we are to test the Spirit, but when the word matches up in consistency with what the Spirit reveals, it then becomes obvious that the Spirit passes the test. It is not a lie.
John the beloved also knew of the writings of the prophet Jeremiah because he basically quoted his writings from chapter 31, verses 33-34 because He mentioned the word ‘teach’.
But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel; “After those days, declares Yahwey, I will put My Torah (Law) in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim and they shall be My people. And they shall no longer each man teach his neighbor, and each man his brother, saying, “Know Yahwey”: for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, declares Yahwey: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Now why didn’t John pass this on the part about Yahwey forgiving iniquity and remembering their sin no more, the transgression of the law of Yahwey? John did say this; he just said it in a different way. Those who know that Yahwey is righteous also know that whoever does righteousness is from Yahwey.
1st John 2:29 If ye know that He is righteous, you also know that whoever does righteousness is born of Him.
John isn’t saying that there isn’t any need for pastors and teachers as it is outlined in Ephesians 4:11-14, and set up and ordained by Yahushua. The problem was the Gnostic teaching at the time that one must have secret knowledge of hidden things. This is what John was preaching against if you read this chapter keeping it in its proper context.
Paul also taught that one is to practice righteousness that is taught in the Law.
Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
Those in the day who were doing the law out of their own sense of works or deeds were cursed because they were not doing them from the heart to please Yahwey. We cannot rely on the works of the law to provide our salvation. However Paul said that those who did not continue to ‘do’ all the things written in the law were also cursed because they were not practicing what is written in the law and ‘doing them”. We know that there is only one law, (Torah) and that there will not be another. This is the law (Torah Teachings of Yahwey), that Yahwey Himself will put in the inward parts and write it in the hearts of His children, the house of Israel. No one can be justified by the Torah because all humans have broken the Torah and are under the penalty of their own law-breaking. The curse is for disobeying the Torah, there are only blessings for obedience.
When Paul questions his audience of the folks at Galatia asking, “Did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law or by hearing of faith?”; we know that Paul cannot be talking about the whole Torah as when the covenant was made with Abraham 430 years before the Sanai covenant when Abraham had obeyed the Torah and commandments.
Genesis 26:4-5 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed My voice, and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.
Genesis 26:4-5 clearly shows that the reason Abraham obeyed and preserved His statutes, commandments and Torah and kept His charge was because Yahwey had cut a covenant with Abraham, that Abraham would be blessed because he did so. The sacrificial law that was ‘added’ at Mt Sinai was a temporary placement with the priesthood and its sacrifices set next to the Torah as a mediator for Israel until the reality of the eternal Melchizedek priesthood that would come through Yahushua, mentioned time and time again in the book of Hebrews. The promise to Abraham is the physical land of the children of Israel and not heaven; which is way larger than the state land of Israel. This will become revealed when Yahushua returns. All true believers in Messiah have this same promise through the same faith as that of Abraham.
How do we know if we are of the house of Israel? If you have received the Spirit of adoption, and call upon Yahwey as your Father, (Abba) then you are of the house of Israel if you are keeping all of His covenant, His statutes and His Torah just as Abraham did, by faith. How do I know? Paul goes too great length to teach this concept of understanding throughout all of his letters. However, here is one simple scripture as evidence.
Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
It is also very easy to understand through our own sense regarding adoption here in America. When a child is adopted into a family, they not only take on the family name as their own, they also receive an inheritance when their adoptive parent’s die. Yahushua told us that The God of Israel, (His name is Yahwey) has a house with many mansions and that He is going away to prepare so that when He comes again, He will have a place to receive us unto Him so that where He is, we can be with Him.
John14:2-3 There are many rooms in My Father’s house, and if not I would have told you so. For I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again, and will receive you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also.
When He comes again, everyone shall see the salvation of Yahwey. And the glory of Yahwey shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together. No one will see it before anyone else. We also have a second witness to this truth. All the folks that are mentioned in the faith chapter eleven of the book of Hebrews, will not see the glory of Yahwey without us. We will all be perfected together.
Hebrews 11:40 Elohim having provided some better thing for us, that they (All those mentioned) without us should not be made perfect.
Hallilu- Yah! Praise Elohim…..
