The Kingdom of The Elohim of Israel

The kingdom of God 1 Interestingly enough, when you type in the phrase ‘The Kingdom of God’ into a bible search engine, the very first scripture that shows is this one:

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Isn’t that just like Yahwey to place this scripture in its perfect order? If one is to begin a study regarding the Kingdom of God, they ought to know that they are on the right path to seek His Kingdom and His righteousness.

If you type in the word ‘kingdom’ in the second testament, the first scripture that comes up is this one: Matthew 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

We have John the Baptist declaring that the kingdom is at hand and “Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.”

What is the Kingdom of Elohim? Is it a person, place or thing? What does the Kingdom of Elohim look like? These are a few questions I hope that I will find the answer too as I delve into this study.

Nebuchadnezza and Daniel Long ago, Yahwey revealed a dream to the first real world wide ruler, King Nebuchadnezzar. In this dream, he called for his magicians, astrologers, sorcerers, and the Chaldeans,  to show the king his dream. He wanted them to interpret a dream which he did not understand and that bothered his spirit. He told the Chaldeans that if they couldn’t interpret his dream that he would have them cut into pieces and their houses made a dunghill. The Chaldeans asked the king to tell them the dream and they would interpret it but this was not to be so. The king couldn’t remember the dream so he figured that because they were so powerful, they ought to be able to then both remind him of his dream and interpret it. Of course they were not all that powerful and knowing and could not do as the king asked. The king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.

At that time, living in the kingdom of Nebuchadnezzar was a captive Jew who was well known for all matters of wisdom and understanding. His name was Daniel. King Nebuchadnezzar was so frustrated with all of the magicians, astrologers, and sorcerers living in his kingdom because they couldn’t tell him his dream so he sent out a decree that the wise men should be slain; and they also sought Daniel to be slain because he was included as a wise man. Daniel heard about the decree and asked his fellow companions to begin praying with him; that they would desire mercies of the Elohim (God) of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. The secret vision was revealed to David in a night vision. Daniel sought the man in charge who was to follow through with the king’s command to slay all those with special powers to interpret dreams. This fella brought Daniel before the king and Daniel did tell King Nebuchadnezzar what was in his dream and then also interpreted it.

Statute in Nebs dream In a vision, Daniel was shown a great image made of gold, silver, brass, iron and part iron and clay. While Daniel was conveying the interpretation thereof before the king, he said the following words that were actually a prophecy into the very farthest future. “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.” ~ Daniel 2:44

As of yet, we haven’t exactly witnessed this kind of kingdom or realm here on earth. All the kingdoms that have been witnessed over the span of history have eventually all come crashing down. None of these kingdoms of power have ever been a kingdom that has stood forever as the kingdom that Daniel spoke of. Daniel was not talking about a church, or a people who were ruling in power or even a church or people who were to rule over other people on earth. He said that Yahwey, the God of heaven would set up this kingdom and it would break all other kingdoms in pieces and consume them and that was the kingdom that would stand forever. Whatever the kingdom of Elohim is that Yahwey has planned to set up, it has the power to consume and to stand forever.

Just so we all know; this kingdom is not a kingdom that is set up in the hearts of men either. As you read about the image that is described in the book of Daniel chapter two, we understand that this image is precise and characteristic in nature; describing national and international governments. Daniel was describing a succession of world empires that would rise and fall.

In the latter days, then would come the last ruling empire that would have ten nations represented by the ten toes in the image that was shown in King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. This last ruling world empire as far as we know that is described of iron mixed with miry clay, a kingdom that shall be partly strong, and partly broken, has yet to come into power. When it does, it will only rule for a short time before it is broken into pieces and consumed by the God (Elohim) of heaven Who shall set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed. This is the Kingdom that we are commanded to seek first; hand in hand to seeking His righteousness and not our own.

I am supposing here, but none the less; I believe this kingdom will not come upon the earth until Yahushua HaMashiach returns. The reason I believe this is because when He returns, He is to come as king of Kings and Lord of lords and the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever. ~ part B of Revelation 11:15. He will rule over the entire earth and all kingdoms will bow before the King of kings. It was for this cause that Yahushua Himself said that He was born.

John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto Him, Art thou a king then? Yahushua answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth My voice.

Yahushua before Pilate Sometimes even the greatest of men have no understanding of the truth which Yahushua spoke of. This is why Pilate replied in jest asking, “What is truth?” More often than not, the truth is just utterly out of the reach of men. Yet, here was Yahushua telling Pilate that He was born for this reason to be a king and for this cause He was come into the world and that this truth that Yahushua would bear witness too; would only be witnesses by those who hear His voice.

We know from another passage in scripture that the Kingdom of Elohim is something that will be taken away from those who abuse it and will be given to those who will bring forth the fruits of it. Not only that but the kingdom of Elohim will be given to a nation (ethnos, probably from 1486; a race (as of the same habit), i.e. a tribe; specially, a foreign (non-Jewish) one (usually, by implication, pagan):–Gentile, heathen, nation, people.).

Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, the kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

purpose Where ever Yahushua went, He preached about the gospel of the Kingdom of Elohim. This was His message. He expected people to repent and believe the gospel.

What was His gospel? Yahushua told His disciples that it wasn’t given unto everyone to know the mystery of the kingdom of Elohim but it was given unto them. To everyone else it would be ordained to be a parable.

Mark 4:12 And He said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

Why wasn’t Yahushua making it known to everyone the mystery of the Kingdom of Elohim? I have studied this out and asked this question before and it has been written more than a few times throughout the text of the Bible that not everyone will know this truth lest they have the ears to hear. Many folks are really not willing to tip their ear to this truth. However,  it can be found if one is willing to search it out.

If you are interested in this study of gathered scriptures, see the following link.

Not only did Yahushua preach the gospel,  the author of the book of Hebrews shares with his audience that the gospel was preached to the patriarchs of our faith.

Hebrews 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Paul even wrote to the folks at Galatia that the gospel was even preached to Abraham.

Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

So this tells us that the gospel was taught ‘before’ the cross. The reason it didn’t profit them was because they did not mix their faith with their ‘doing’ after they heard it.

Yahushua spoke of the Kingdom of Elohim to another fella by the name of Nicodemus. This man was a Pharisee, a ruler of the Jews who came seeking Yahushua out during the night. Yahushua told Nicodemus that except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of Elohim. (John 3:5)

Many folks have often expressed themselves to me saying how they have been born again. I myself used to tell people that I too, had been born again. Now after having studied diligently the truth for the last nine years, I know now that I have not yet been born again.

I do not yet see this kingdom of Elohim because Yahwey has not yet set it up. However, what Yahushua was explaining to Nicodemus was that if he didn’t have the Spirit of Yahwey with-in him, he would not see the kingdom of Elohim. So here too we find out that the Kingdom of Elohim is ‘not’ something that everyone can see. We also know from Yahushua’s conversation with Nicodemus that ‘the church’ cannot be the kingdom of Elohim because once again, the kingdom has not yet been set up and will not be set up by anyone other than Yahwey, as was prophesied in the dream to King Nebuchadnezzar. Yahwey’s kingdom will consume all other kingdoms and we simply have not witnessed this kingdom.

I am sure that you have misspoken the following words that, ‘the kingdom of God is with-in you.’ I know that I sure have. We have said these words because we have been told that this is what Yahushua said. But let us look closer at ‘who’ it was that Yahushua was actually talking too.

The exact scripture is: Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

If you look at the verse directly above (In Luke 17:20) we find out that Yahushua was actually talking to the Pharisees who had asked Him when the kingdom of God should come? His answer was that the kingdom of Elohim would not come with observation (An outward sign) and the people won’t be saying, look the kingdom is here or the kingdom is there. We know that Yahushua certainly did not mean that the kingdom of Elohim was with-in the Pharisee’s. The Kingdom of Elohim was obviously not in them if they had to ask when it would come.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the folks (the ecclesia) in Corinth that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. The Pharisees were a corrupt people. These very same people who were the ministers or teachers of their day, had been laying aside Elohim’s commandments and holding the tradition of men and this was what they were teaching.

Over time and all these years later, this same teaching is still being professed by religious ministers. They are teaching that the Torah has been done away with or that Yahushua has replaced the Torah and therefore those who hear them preach this lie; are still holding on to the tradition of men of which they have been taught. As a result, many folks are not seeking the righteousness of Elohim that is found in Torah. They are not living their lives and following in the footsteps of Yahushua Who taught the instructions of how Yahwey expects His children to live. But like Yahushua said, it isn’t given to everyone.

Remember? But seek ye first the kingdom of Elohim, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. ~ Matthew 6:33

We have not been commanded to listen, believe and live the way that man tells us to live. We are to be seeking His kingdom that is to come and His righteousness, not ignoring God’s law and substituting our own traditional teaching. If our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of Elohim, what shall we say? We simply won’t have a leg to stand on.

Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

We’ve got to be looking past the self-righteousness and tradition of men if we expect to enter the kingdom of Elohim. By the way, in case you are planning to enter the Kingdom of Elohim, you might need to know that those who are blessed that may have right to the tree of life and enter in through the gates into the city….. are those that ‘do’ His commandments. Have you been one to ‘do’ His commandments or have you replaced them with Yahushua or worse yet, thrown them out and nailed them to the cross?

We simply cannot abandon the commandment of Elohim and hold to human tradition. We cannot worship Yahwey and teach as doctrines, ‘the precepts of men’. We must be teaching the truth.

The Pharisees and all the Jews did not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders. The Pharisees taught the Jews and they blindly followed in this teaching rather than what was written in Torah no different than what most religions teach to the masses now. This has gone on for a couple thousand years. It was happening in the days that Paul was teaching too. He warned the folks at Galatia that they would be cursed if they did not continue to ‘do’ what was written in the law. (Torah)

These are not my words folks. Read it for yourself. (Galatians 3:10 part B)  ‘for it is written, cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them’. Just before Paul wrote those words in his letter, he wrote this: ‘For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse’. (Part A) We can not be workers of the law expecting that the law will save us.  It will not. The ‘doing’ must be a daily faith that Yah knows what is best for us.

Those who perform the works of the law before the people, are under a curse too,  simply because they show their labor in acts and deeds rather than walk in obedience to Yahwey with a pure heart, keeping His commandments as part of their daily living as a worship to Him Who is holy and just.  When we are alone in our own homes, we are to be worshiping Yahwey as He would have us worship Him.   Pure religion and undefiled before Elohim and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. ~ James 1:27

Tree of life True religion, which is completely contrary to superstition, consists in spiritual worship. All enemies of the God of truth have taught a religion that has taken deep root and will one day be plucked up. Some do not even know that they are teaching a lie because it has been so deeply rooted into man, that man cannot see the forest through the trees. Like the Pharisees who asked Yahushua when will this kingdom come, they didn’t recognize that the kingdom was standing before them in their midst. (Within – entos, within you: or, among you)

So now we know that the Kingdom of Elohim is not something that can be seen because the Pharisees would have recognized it. The conversation that Yahushua had with Nicodemus shows us that the Kingdom of Elohim is something that we will enter and that in order to get there, we must be born again to see it. But what about the church? The church cannot be the Kingdom of Elohim either because if it were, we would already be seeing the kingdom and we can’t because Yahwey has not set it up yet.

Final Yahushua Heart Is the Kingdom of Elohim in the heart of mankind? No, because the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Not only that but the heart of man is composed of flesh and blood and corruption cannot inherit incorruption.

Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Elohim. Not to mention but I will, Yahwey did not show Daniel that the Kingdom of Elohim would be set up in the heart of man.

When Yahushua was speaking to the Pharisees, He was speaking in the present tense when He said, ‘The Kingdom of Elohim is…. within you”. We also know that the Pharisees were not yet converted and speaking the truth because they were teaching for doctrines the commandments of men and not the commandments of God as a doctrine of truth. In fact we find in another text written in the New Covenant, Yahushua said that the Pharisees would not see the kingdom and that they would be thrust out (Luke 13:28), because they were workers of iniquity.

So, what is the Kingdom of Elohim, what does it look like? We simply do not know because it is not yet here. In the conversation with Yahushua that He had with His disciples, we learned that the mystery of the Kingdom of Elohim is not known to everyone. We also learned that the kingdom of Elohim is not something that man will organize because of the prophecy shown to Daniel that it will be Yahwey who sets up His kingdom. We do however know that Yahushua was born and for this cause that He came into the world. Yahushua also told Pilate that His kingdom was not of this world. This truth completely eliminates the false teaching that ‘the church’ is the Kingdom of Elohim.

We can also learn from another text that the Kingdom of Elohim is a place to sit down.

~ Luke 13:29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

This text further proves that the Kingdom of Elohim is not in the heart of man because we cannot physically sit down inside our heart. (Shall sit down –anaklino from 303 and 2827; to lean back:–lay, (make) sit down).

From yet another text we learn that the Kingdom of Elohim is a place to go ‘into’.

~ Matthew 21:31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

And isn’t that interesting? It was the publicans and the harlots that Yahushua said will enter in; before the Pharisees because they at least believed Him when He taught of the truth of the gospel that Yahwey’s commands had not been done away with. They believed Him and when their sin had been revealed to them, they repented.

Most people really do not know what sin is. They have been told that all mankind was born into sin because of the disobedience of Adam and Eve. While this is partially true, we cannot repent of being born into sin just because we have been born into sin. We humans were created to be born into life. Should we repent just because we were born?  No,   so let’s discover this truth.

What is the Bible’s definition of sin? Sin is very grievous and we need to know what sin is because if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. We know that Yahushua was manifested to take away our sin and that sin is not in Yahushua. We know that we are made sinners by one man’s disobedience. It is by the obedience of Yahushua that many shall be made righteous. Yahushua absolutely lived, walked, breathed and preached Torah.

John the beloved  taught that sin is all unrighteousness and we know that Yahushua was not an unrighteous being. We know that Yahushua was also manifested to destroy the works of the devil and that the devil is not obedient to Yahwey. We know that the wrath of Elohim is coming to the children of disobedience, i.e.; unbelief.

John the beloved said that whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. It is also John the beloved who gives us the exact definition of what sin is.

1st John 3:4 ¶ Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

There you have it. Whoever violates the law of God, is committing sin because that is what sin is. Those who teach that the law is done away with have lied because they do not see the truth that is written right before their eyes. The truth is not in them. Those that teach and those that believe that Yahushua has replaced the Torah are believing and continuing to teach a lie.

Paul asked this question to the folks at Rome.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. ~ Romans 7:7

If Paul didn’t have the law that was still in place all those years after the crucifixion, how would he have known that lust was a sin according to the law (Torah)? That is the question that he is asking.

Paul said the law is just and good. Why then do people teach and believe that Paul teaches that the law is done away with when Paul clearly knew that without the law (Torah), he wouldn’t know that lust was indeed a sin?

Hebrew refutation Those who have sin within them are not going to see the kingdom of Elohim. Those who do not repent of their transgression of the law (Sin) are walking in violation against the known will of Yahwey and they need to be taught the truth.

One day, Yahwey will make it known to everyone but not just yet. Yahushua said that if everyone were to know the truth, they would be converted. Not everyone is walking in obedience to Elohim’s truth. Not everyone knows or is even meant to know the mystery of the gospel of the Kingdom of Elohim. However, that doesn’t mean that we should rest on our laurels and our traditions and not be seeking His Kingdom and His righteousness. To do the opposite, would be walking directly in opposition to the command to seek His kingdom and His righteousness.

Many people think that their transgression against the law has been forgiven because they have been told that all they have to do is believe that Yahushua is the Son of God and that is all that is required for them. The truth is that we are to go and ‘sin’ no more. We are to stop transgressing the law and begin to seek His kingdom and His righteousness because if we remember right, those who are blessed and will enter into the gates of the city are those who are ‘doing’ His commandments.

Some folks might reply that love fulfils the Torah, which it does. But have you read this? And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. ~ Matthew 24:12

The entire Torah can be summarized by a single word…. Love.

However my question is this. What happens when the Torah, Elohim’s instructions are disregarded? The answer is that the love of many shall wax cold. If you are a believer that the law has been done away with or that Yahushua has replaced the Torah, your love even for me, might be rising within you and growing cold right now.

The New King James Version reads like this: And because lawlessness shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Matthew 2412 ‘Lawlessness’…., isn’t that the buzz word every night on the news? Speaking of that, I might note here too that there is another prophecy that also uses the term lawlessness. You can find that in 2nd Thessalonians chapter two, verse three in both the NLT and the NIV; which speaks about the man of lawlessness that is soon to be revealed. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called Elohim or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in Yahwey’s temple, proclaiming himself to be Elohim.

Here is another truth to consider. No matter what anyone says, the gospel of the kingdom of Elohim shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.  If we do not teach the truth, whether people believe us or not, the end will not come. There are certain things that must be fulfilled in prophecy before Yahwey can set up His Kingdom. Yahwey knows exactly where we are in His timing. No matter what happens, His Kingdom shall stand forever. His way of living will stand forever.  His truth is ‘supposed to be’ elevated above our own thinking. His thoughts are higher than ours.

At this very moment in time, Yahushua now sits in the heavenly sanctuary as our High Priest. Yahwey prophesied through the mouth of Jeremiah that the children broke the covenant that He made with them and that He is going to put His laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and He will be to them a God, and they shall be to Him a people. I often wonder if people think that Yahwey has two different laws.

I can tell you this much…. It is because of our High Priest that we have not been stoned for our transgression of Torah. It is He that has saved us from the law of sin and death. If it were not for Yahushua, we would all be held accountable and be put to death for breaking all the commandments that require death as the punishment.

What is the Kingdom of Elohim? Is it a person, place or thing? What does the Kingdom of Elohim look like? I think we have safely discovered that the Kingdom of Elohim has not yet come but that we who are living, ought to be seeking His Kingdom that is still yet to come and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you….

What are these things that Matthew is writing about? He was just quoting what Yahushua preached at the Sermon on the Mount. Yahushua was teaching the people not to worry about what they wear, what they eat, or whatever their needs are. All one has to do is continue to seek His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things, will be added unto those who walk in obedience to His known will.

Make no mistake about it, shall the Elohim (God) of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Yahwey will not be letting anyone or any people be in charge of His kingdom. It shall not be left to other people. It was for this cause that Yahushua was born into this world.

Whosoever teaches that it’s ok to break Elohim’s commandments and teaches me to do that, that teacher of lawlessness will be called the least in Elohim’s Kingdom. Whoever teaches that the commandments are still in effect and teaches men to follow accordingly; will be called great in Elohim’s Kingdom. The only folks who enter His Kingdom are those that do the will of the Father. I suspect that when all is said and done, people will make the choice to walk in obedience to all of Yahwey’s statutes and keep His judgments and do them.

In all the examples that Yahushua taught showing His audience what the Kingdom of heaven would look like, all those examples showed growth.  I bid you to grow in truth.

Seek His Kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Isaiah 601
