1st Timothy 1:15-16 – Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Yahushua HaMashiac came into the world to save sinners-of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Yahushua HaMashiac might display His unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on Him and receive eternal life.
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Yahushua HaMashiac came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Yahushua HaMashiac might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on Him to life everlasting.
What good news! Paul calls himself dysfunctional. This is not flowery speech or false humility but a true self assessment.
We are qualified to do amazing things for Yahwey because our qualifications are not based upon us, but His unlimited patience.
Just like Paul, this understanding should cause all of us to give thanks and praise. When we get this truth we’ll stop placing barriers in front of ourselves that Yahwey never intended and He will get the glory! Hallelujah!
The God of all creation uses all of us a prime examples, sooner or later to show us that one sin is no different than another sin. We are all at our worst, once in awhile. Elohim shows us mercy through His Son that He has great patience with all of us so that everyone can see that we are no better than each other. Elohim never intended for us to think that we are better than we think we are, just because we are saved. There is only one difference that separates a believer from a non believer and that is ’belief’.
May the peace that passes all understanding overshadow you this day. May you trust that you are exactly where God intends for you to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in Christ Jesus. May you use the gifts that He has in-trusted you with and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content in His love just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, to dance, to praise and love Him as you show this passion to others, knowing His grace is there for each and every one of us who call upon His name.
Ecclesiastes 1:10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
What can we point to that we can say for sure is new if we didn’t live in a time before when it may have already existed? One thing we know for sure is that nothing is new to the Creator of all things that exist. And this in itself is only known by faith and now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
We are loved by our Creator even when we are chemically imbalanced or mentally dysfunctional. We have been loved even before time existed.
