I may have missed something all together.
I just read chapter five of revelation as I was getting ready to study some of it out and for some reason, something popped into my head which has lead me to ask a question about the scroll with the seven seals that begins to be opened in the next chapter. (6) What ever was written on the scroll, it just occurred to me tonight was never read by Yahushua. Before One could read the scroll, all seven seals had to be loosened and each seal releases a catastrophe upon the earth, but yet once all the seals are loosed, the scroll is never read.
Do you find this strange? Or am I missing something here?
Some folks think that the scroll that is in this book is the same one that God told Him to seal up for the end times. That was actually written as ‘a book’, but I looked up that word and it is translated from scroll to book by those silly folks who transcribed for King James.
The only thought I can come up with is that it is the God of creation who hands the book to Yahushua who is the only One found worthy to do so, and the Lamb that was slain, took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
Do you think maybe, even though there was writing inside and on the back of this scroll that what Yahwey handed to Yahushua was ‘authority’ just then? And it is only meant for Him to read? Or do you know of somewhere else that it may be written, what was on that scroll. The reason I am so curious is because the strong angel does ask this question: “Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?” (The angel refers to it as a book, but does not mention that it needs to be read, it is only John (the seerer) who says that he wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
So we know from that statement that He (Yahushua) is the ONLY ONE that said book/scroll was meant for.
Just because it was a book or a scroll, does not mean it needed to be read, but we as humans think of a scroll or a book as something that would be read since the Holy Spirit does let us know that there is writing on it.
VERSE 1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
