Matthew 18:20 ~ Scriptural Thoughts by Eudora

Yahushua said, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.”

This passage doesn’t say that the folks gathered need be in prayer, it could even mean that the folks could be gathered to make a judgment or just gathered to study.

The word midst in greek is mesos, pronounced mes’-os meaning middle (as an adjective) or (noun) among, before them, between or way.

This is actually what is called p’shat in Hebrew: plain sense….. So cool to know that where ever we go, when we gather in like minds, there He is, right there in the middle of us, among us, leading before us and right there behind us. Praise be to His name, Let Your glory be over all the earth, even in Russia.
