Come journey with me to the inner chambers of my heart…
Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed Me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of His glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
The word regeneration stood out to me here. The word from Strong’s Greek is paliggenesia, pronounced pal-ing-ghen-es-ee’-ah meaning (spiritual) rebirth (the state or the act), i.e. (figuratively) spiritual renovation; specially, Messianic restoration:–regeneration.
The regeneration is understood to mean that day when the elect will begin to live a new life, that is to say, when they will enjoy the heavenly inheritance, both in body and soul according to the Geneva Bible Notes.
I look at this as ‘the restoration of all things‘, due to a study I did on the cherubim’s that were sent to guard the entrance to The Garden, East of Eden combined with the covenant that Yahwey made with Noah and all of creation. I believe with all my heart that these beings are the protectors of the covenant. St John, even saw two of these beings in a vision, one sitting on each side of the throne where Yahushua sits. Ezekiel also saw these beings by the river called Chebar.
