Off and on for the last few weeks I have been studying the bride and the bridegroom in the Bible and came across the following verse this morning.
1st Thessalonians 4:16-17 Because the Master Himself shall come down from Heaven with a commanding shout of an archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of YAHWEY, And the dead in Messiah will rise first. Then we who remain alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet our Master in the air. And so we will always be with our Master.
While it may not seem to anyone that this verse has anything to do with the bride and bride groom, I do. The bride rises to meet her Groom.
Those whom have died before His second coming, those whom are awaiting the shout of His return and the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of YAHWEY.
Soon and very soon we are going to see the Lord!
Yahushua, our Bridegroom, will descend from heaven to carry His bride (us!) away with Him to His Father’s house.
Gently He will lift the veil from the face of His bride, the veil that separates death from eternal life. And He shall utter a glad shout as He gazes upon her beauty — the beauty that He Himself has wrought.
O what a glorious day that will be.
