Sometimes, we get caught off guard by a battle. It is in these times, that we just re-act to what is. There is a scripture that we can reflect on during those sudden storms.
Mathew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
I think we have even been equipped with-in us, something akin to a knee jerk reaction to sudden storms. Daily when we read our Bibles, our minds are collecting that data, so are trained to fight against sin and abhor all that is in the darkness. When we get into certain types of storms, something deep with-in us stirs up inside of us to fight for what is rightfully ours and rightfully belongs to our heavenly Father.
All of our children and all of our grandchildren are the jewels in our lives here on earth. When one of those jewels gets caught in the crossfire between satan and his minions and the Kingdom of God, we begin to exercise the power that lives with in us, against the power of sin. We just press in with the power of the kingdom of God that lives with in us and make it through these sudden storms. We overcome because we are over comers. It is all because of our new DNA through our Savior, Yahushua.
What I think is so cool is that with out our even knowing it, and sometimes we do find out later, that at the very time we were caught in that storm, Yahwey moved heaven and earth on our behalf and had folks all over the world who know His voice; who stopped, dropped and prayed because they heard His voice saying that one of His children was in a firestorm of trouble.
Yahwey sees the fire of the storm that His child is in and He calls in for re-enforcement… I know. this to be true because I was once in a deep hole of darkness and He showed me a vision of a girl with long red hair on her knees and she was crying and praying on my behalf. That vision gave me so much strength that I crawled out on my hands and knees. [If she ever reads this, she will know who she is]
John the Baptist was the voice in the wilderness proclaiming “Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew told us that John was the man that Isaiah prophesied that would come who would be the voice crying in the wilderness to “prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.”
Now here in our day, we are the ones who carry on this message.
Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
When we press in asking our Creator to call our children and grandchildren and children that haven’t even been born yet into His kingdom, He holds on to those prayers. Sometimes satan fights for souls in a wicked and ugly way, but when we are filled with the Spirit of God, His Spirit kicks in.
Sometimes when we might even think we are out of control, we really aren’t. We are fighting a real battle and our Victor, King Yahushua; leads the way by the power of The Holy Spirit taking back what He knows belongs to Him to begin with.
Ever since John the baptist announced that YAHUSHUA WAS COME…. the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing and violent people and evil forces have attacked that advance.
Take courage and un-wavering faith, mix those two together and add the power of even a small quick prayer and you will blast through any storm. Be blessed and continue being the blessing that you are called to be. Hope this little message encourages you.
