Why?

Why do some refuse to put into practice what the “tutor” teaches to do?

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.  Walking in this way, following Lord Yahushua, seeking holiness, refusing to turn this way or that way to follow along with the regular crowd requires a complete and total dependence on the Holy Spirit for every single step of the way and I do mean every sing step.

The Law of God, the Teachings, do have a consciousness-raising role do they not?

Not every one is willing to reach deep and press in to the most secure position anywhere that anyone could ever find.  (His arms) It takes daily effort to keep moving forward and not allowing the world to take over any part of our lives.  One really has to stay constantly in touch with the power of His Spirit so that His way, His purpose and His plan can unfold within us.

Yah must always be the center, the focus, the very core and essence of the goal.  To live for Him, not recognizing any other goal in this life but to glorify Him in all things and simply refuse to let anything stop or get in the way of seeking His Kingdom and His righteousness and not my own. Everything I think say or do revolves around His very breath that keeps my blood flowing.

People become clearly hostile to folks like me and it is extremely hard not to just slap people senseless but then instead I slap myself into reality and I remember to ask myself, “ Eudora, where did you come from?”  It is not as if I was born with all this as a silver spoon in my mouth.

I walked in and out of God’s arms for many years but it was not until He revealed Himself to me in the only way that He knew that I would recognize Him; that my life took a complete turn. I was done playing dodge ball after all those years because I finally threw the ball in His court and said, please keep it. I had no idea that I would be where I am today just seven short years ago.

I also know now that Yahweh chooses who will believe in Him.  I know that I have no choice in the matter. I could not share anything with anyone until they are ready to receive what He wants them to receive. Without the Holy Spirit to reveal that, how would I know?

Peter said, “For the promise is for you and your children and for all those in far away places, whomever the LORD our God will call to Himself.

And how can one claim to have been tutored if they have never learned and done that which the tutor says to do?

The Jews and many Gentiles grew up with the Law. The Hebrew nation that came out of Egypt was called to take this information to the world originally and they failed to walk in His statutes and judgments and chose to walk their own way. We learn this from the mouth of the prophet Jeremiah that was restated in the book of Hebrews that it was ‘they’ the people who turned away from the path that Yah chose and continued not in His covenant. Not to mention this is why Yah sent the prophets in the first place to call His people back to Him.

Perhaps the Law, the Torah the teachings of Yah were intended to keep them from becoming so intolerably sinful and unredeemable until Messiah would come.

The Teachings of Yah cause us to be aware of sin so that we would recognize our need for Yahushua because in or out of the law, we all fall short of earning God’s praise simply because we are spirit inside of flesh and flesh is weak. Nevertheless, in order to fulfill Christ’s Law, we must bear one anothers burdens. I certainly did not choose to walk this path.  This path has been laid out for me, but I do daily make a choice to stay on this path because I know where I am going. Now having walked in this path for these last seven years, I can guarantee that I will not ever turn my back on Him again.  There has been way too much revealed to ever cause me to give up, lay down my cross and walk away from Him now.  His love is a greater force than any evil in this world and this helps me to stay focused when darts of evil try to take a strong hold.

Galatians 3:24 NASB – Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith.

This is the bottom line, as we know it.  We walk purely by faith. No longer under legalism but rather walking in trusting faithfulness with-in the framework of the Torah by the Spirit of the Law; by virtue of our union with Messiah.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.  Thank You Yahushua.
